As Thursday Night Football goes, this was much ado about nothing.
The Titans rested half their starting team in preparation for their important divisional rival, Jacksonville Jaguars, for the AFC South and they benched Malik Willis in favour of Josh Dobbs under centre.
The Cowboys looked like they would run away with it when Ezekiel Elliot scored on the first drive of the team.
There were a number of turnovers for each team as Dallas led 10-6 at halftime, with two picks by Kevin Byard for a Tennessee team that competed from the off.
Dalton Schultz scored on the first drive of the second half with a touchdown.
Dobbs finishes a 14-play drive with a touchdown pass to Robert Woods to leave just four points between the sides. It was Dobbs first TD pass since he arrived in Motor City less than two weeks ago after being released by the Browns.
Dalton Schultz got his second score of the game when Dak Prescott found him with his best pass of the night.
The final score was 27-13.
